On September 27, 2024, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 2,115 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,667 Rural Renewal Stream applications, 589 all Express Entry Streams applications, 16 Dedicated Healthcare Pathway for non-Express Entry nominations and 69 Entrepreneur Streams applications. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocated a quota of 9,750 nominations to Alberta for 2024 under the AAIP. This year, Alberta invited 873 candidates and issued 8,023 nomination certificates.
