Over the last 3 weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From September 9 to September 29, Canada invited 4,188 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of September 29, 37,582 candidates were registered in the pool and waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 2 ITAs for Andorra, 470 ITAs for Australia, 6 ITAs for Austria, 71 ITAs for Belgium, 256 ITAs for Chile, 163 ITAs for Costa Rica, 12 ITAs for Croatia, 58 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 19 ITAs for Denmark, 15 ITAs for Estonia, 5 ITAs for Finland, 351 ITAs for France, 282 ITAs for Germany, 2 ITAs for Greece, 6 ITAs for Hong Kong, 2 ITAs for Iceland, 252 ITAs for Ireland, 262 ITAs for Italy, 127 ITAs for Japan, 302 ITAs for Korea, 8 ITAs for Lithuania, 5 ITAs for Luxembourg, 83 ITAs for the Netherlands, 122 ITAs for New Zealand, 7 ITAs for Norway, 56 ITAs for Poland, 70 ITAs for Portugal, 19 ITAs for Slovakia, 6 ITAs for Slovenia, 27 ITAs for Spain, 29 ITAs for Sweden, 13 ITAs for Switzerland, 170 ITAs for Taiwan, and 910 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2024, Canada issued 119,137 ITAs under the IEC Program.
